Carlos ‘Famous Los’ Sanford, whose sarcastic NBA commentary clips have garnered 1.1 million followers on both Instagram and Facebook, has inked a new one-year deal with sports-centric digital network Whistle Sports. Sanford will work with Whistle on premium content creation, branded content, event activations, and social distribution.
Sanford has been signed to Whistle since 2016 and most recently collaborated with the network on coverage of the NBA All-Star Game. He also served as host on Whistle’s Dunk Battle show and produced The Last Word — a branded series for Hotels.com. Looking forward, Sanford will work with Whistle on YouTube and Instagram content surrounding the 2018 NBA draft alongside fellow basketball influencers Da Kid Gowie and Filayyy.
Sanford has already collaborated with a variety of top brands on his social channels, including Nike
, Adidas, and Under Armour.“I’ve always been motivated to be successful through all the obstacles I’ve had to overcome in my life,” Sanford told Tubefilter. “Comedy has been that outlet for me, and I’ll never stop creating funny content. Working with Whistle Sports has given me an opportunity to follow my dream and a platform to take my career to the next level.”
Whistle reps other bold-faced digital sports stars including Dude Perfect, The F2, Devin Super Tramp, the Harlem Globetrotters, Spice Adams, Nitro Circus, and Guinness World Records.
