Los Angeles residents, take heed: digital giant Rooster Teeth is hosting today its first-ever pop-up store, which will open its doors at noon PT.
Located downtown at 1054 South Olive Street, the shop will offer a capsule collection of T-shirts, hoodies, bags, and enamel pins from The Geoff Ramsey Collection. Ramsey is Rooster Teeth’s co-founder and also the designer of a popular merch range that launched in March 2016. Ramsey’s pieces feature unique designs and are available in highly limited quantities that sell out within hours. He has sold more than 25,000 shirts to date via Rooster Teeth’s online shop.
Merchandise accounts for 20% of Rooster Teeth’s overall revenues, the company says. Advertising is the biggest piece of the pie, accounting for 25% — of which only “a portion” is derived from YouTube. The rest of the company’s diversified revenues come from licensing and royalties, live events, and games.

In order to celebrate the launch of its inaugural pop-up, Rooster Teeth hosted a party last night, where guests were photographed by Rooster Teeth’s in-house photog Wes Ellis — with the resulting snaps transformed into giant posters and pasted onto walls in an art collage.
