As World Cup Approaches, Freestyling Soccer Channel F2 Launches YouTube Premium Series

The F2 Freestylers are on a journey to discover the best “tekkers” the world has to offer. The popular YouTube channel hosted by Billy Wingrove and Jeremy Lynch has launched F2 Finding FootballYouTube Premium travel series that features impressive freestyle soccer stunts performed in various nations across the globe.

F2 Finding Football, announced last month, is produced by Whistle Sports, which has translated F2’s brand of flashy soccer content into a serial format. Across eight episodes, Wingrove and Lynch will travel to countries like Mexico, Iceland, and Thailand to learn how local cultures inform regional styles of play on the pitch. For their first episode, they went to Argentina, where they danced the tango, hung out with ASAP Ferg, and (of course) juggled a few soccer balls along the way.

Watching additional episodes of Finding Football requires a YouTube Premium subscription, which costs $11.99 per month. The show is being hosted on the F2 YouTube channel, which has more than 7.7 million subscribers.

Finding Football is one of several soccer-related shows that will arrive on YouTube in 2018. F2 were among the guest stars in Jack Whitehall’s Training Days, a pitch-set show that arrived earlier this year. Meanwhile, on YouTube Kids, younger soccer fans can check out BirLd Cup, which features both the characters from the video game Angry Birds and the footballers of England’s Everton FC.

All of these shows are being timed to coincide with the FIFA World Cup, which will take place in Russia in 2018. The first game of the tournament kicks off on June 14 — just one day after Finding Football‘s arrival on the F2 channel.
