The GEM Sisters, a YouTube comedy trio comprising siblings Giselle (right), Evangeline (center), and Mercedes (left), has signed with talent agency Buchwald for representation across all areas, including film, TV, commercials, publishing, and lifestyle/fashion.
The Los Angeles-based sisters — aged 15, 10, and 11, respectively — have amassed more than 450,000 subscribers and 164 million lifetime views on the strength of their family-friendly comedy sketches, parody music videos, and life hacks that simultaneously seek to emphasize cultural diversity and female empowerment, Deadline reports. The channel is operated by parents MéLisa Lomelino and Ryun Hovind through their MéLisa And Ryun Productions company.
In addition to their growing YouTube channel, the young ladies also vend merchandise and books, including a mystery series titled Sister Detectives. The first book in the series, Pup Napped, dropped last August, while book two, Haunted Horse Camp, is due later this summer.
