Soccer trickster duo the F2 Freestylers have recruited an illustrious cast of celebrity guests for their original YouTube series, on which they will travel the globe to explore different styles of play.
On F2 Finding Football, London-based Billy Wingrove and Jeremy Lynch — who have 7.6 million subscribers on F2 Freestylers, the world’s biggest soccer channel — will be joined by renowned DJ Steve Aoki, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, singer Becky G, EDM duo Krewella, rappers A$AP Ferg and Lil Jon, and rock band Sigur Rós. Aoki will help the duo create a Japanese game show, according to YouTube, while Barker will help them helm a Hollywood western.
The series is being produced by Whistle Sports, and will see the duo and their guests voyaging to explore local soccer culture in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Iceland, France, and Thailand. It premieres on June 13 on YouTube Premium, the day before the World Cup kicks off, and marks YouTube’s second soccer-themed original on the heels of last month’s Training Days.
