U.K. Vlogger Marcus Butler Re-Ups With Gleam Futures In Three-Year Deal

Vlogger Marcus Butler has re-upped with longtime talent management firm Gleam Futures for another three years.

Butler inked a new deal with the seminal U.K.-based agency amid a handful of high-profile departures, including fellow vloggers Alfie Deyes, Joe Sugg, and Caspar Lee. At the same time, Gleam has bulked up its international roster with a slew of recent signings, including: viral singer Sophia Grace, beauty editor Nadine Baggott, fitness creator GraceFitUK, mom blogger Susie Verrill, fashion blogger Kat Farmer, and lifestyle vloggers Sabina Hannan (291,000 subscribers), Lovevie (237,000), and Olivia Grace (117,000).

Gleam was one of the earliest talent management companies on the digital scene, and helped break the careers of some of the U.K.’s biggest influencers. Global ad giant Dentsu Aegis acquired a majority stake in the company — which has offices in London, Los Angeles, and Sydney — last June.

Butler, for his part, started vlogging seven years ago and has racked up over 6 million subscribers across three YouTube channels. The 26-year-old has also pursued several business ventures beyond the platform, including a bestselling advice book titled Hello Life!, the Lower Your Expectations podcast, and a monthly food subscription service called SourcedBox.
