Ivy Cavic, who served as head of TV and digital at talent management company Roar for roughly eight years, has joined competing firm Rare Global as partner. Cavic (pictured above, left) will bring her bold-faced clients into the Rare fold, including beauty megastar Kandee Johnson, lifestyle vlogging duo The Merrell Twins, and comedy mom vlogger Deva Dalporto (of the MyLifeSuckers channel).
Rare’s roster already includes some of the biggest beauty and fashion vloggers on earth, including Jenn Im (4.1 million followers across social media), Jackie Aina (2.5 million), and Wengie (14.2 million). Rare steers its clients’ careers across digital and traditional media, including 360-degree management, media strategy, and agent guidance. In addition to her digital roster, Cavic also reps the actress Paris Berelc, who has appeared on the Disney Channel and Netflix.
“Today’s content creators should have a diverse, expansive brand that spans across consumer products, brand partnerships, and traditional media,” said Rare Global’s CEO and partner Ashley Villa (above right), who founded the company in 2015. “Our clients have great ambition and aim for global reach — they are prime to embrace traditional media roles and mainstream outlets while continuing to elevate their digital brands.”
“Ashley and I bring such different backgrounds and skill sets to the table,” Cavic added. “By joining forces, we are raising the bar and giving our clients a competitive advantage by merging the traditional with the new media platforms.”
