Epic Meal Time, one of the earliest viral food channels on YouTube — which rocketed to renown thanks to clips that showcased the preparation of wildly caloric burgers and kooky concoctions like candy pizza — is now looking to feed the masses.
Epic Meal Time co-creator Harley Morenstein has launched a line of foods at Walmart stores nationwide dubbed Super Snack Time — capitalizing on the eight-year-old channel’s propensity for indulgent and eclectic treats. The first product launch, dubbed Pizza In A Bag, is a pepperoni jerky that’s available in three flavors: pepperoni, supreme, and buffalo. Each pepperoni is individually seasoned and sliced, according to a release, and the 2-oz. pizza-shaped bags will be sold for $4 apiece exclusively within Walmart checkout lanes.
“A lot of the foods we make in our videos are not meals the average viewer is able to make or even enjoy in one sitting,” Morenstein said in a statement. “So Super Snack Time products are great for satisfying anyone’s snack cravings, and especially our fans who are looking to indulge in crazy foods and flavors.” He added that even more Super Snack Time launches are coming down the pike.
