Description: If you’re sitting around the house and looking to get into better shape, you don’t need an exercise routine. You need a Wicked Workout. Christopher Anderson, with his latest Indiegogo campaign, is looking to deliver exactly that. Anderson is the creative force behind a pilot project that will follow four employees at a local gym.

In the same vein as many great workplace comedies, Wicked Workout will follow its protagonists as they tackle an unforgiving job and the ridiculous customers who they must interact with on a daily basis. Their clientele, according to the campaign page, consists of incompetent exercisers. “Only a select few know what they are doing, and a more select few who even want to be there,” Anderson writes.

Judging by his pitch video, there will also be plenty of Boston accents, if you’re into those. If he raises the funding he seeks, Anderson will spearhead a 30-minute pilot.

Creator Bio: Anderson is based (of course) in the Boston area. He previously enlisted the Indiegogo community to fund a student project titled The Storm.

Best Perk: Backers who kick in at least $50 will receive a sticker pack they can use to show their love for Wicked Workout. Bonus points if you affix one to your favorite machine at the local gym.

Why You Should Fund It: B The culture, attitude, and accent of the Boston area has made a significant impact on the world of film, but it seems there haven’t been as many projects in other media to deliver the same wicked brand of content. Anderson, with his workout, is ready to change that. His pitch video is clean and well-composed, and it delivers plenty of local flavor. Support this project, and you might just gain enough motivation to hit the gym yourself.
