2018 Edition Of Twitch’s TwitchCon To Bring Streamers To Bay Area Between October 26-28

Circle your calendars, Twitch fans: TwitchCon is coming back this October. The streaming platform’s annual gathering will head to San Jose for its 2018 edition, which will begin on October 26 and run through the 28th.

The three-day TwitchCon, first established in 2015, brings together fans and streamers for a series of events, panels, and keynote addresses. This year, the venue of choice will be the newly-renovated McEnery Convention Center in San Jose.

TwitchCon, in addition to its role as a gathering for gamers, also offers Twitch the perfect platform to announce its upcoming features. Last year, it teased multiple innovations, some of which are designed to help up-and-coming creators monetize their streams.

“TwitchCon has continued to grow year over year with our diverse and inclusive community playing a major role in defining the content through their feedback and participation in on-site activities,” said Krystal Herring

, Director of TwitchCon, in a press release. “As with our previous three conventions, we are keeping things fresh with a new location. And since San Jose has a proven track record of successfully holding major events with plenty of great places to eat and stay, it’s exciting to give our attendees a new city to explore for all of the expected community meetups.”

Tickets for TwitchCon 2018 will go on sale at a later date.
