It’s now back to regularly scheduled programming for Logan Paul, the embattled YouTube star whose career took a nosedive last month when he cavalierly vlogged a hanged man’s dead body while visiting Japan.
In a long-awaited vlog titled Logan Paul Is Back! –the 22-year-old quips that he gained 1 million subscribers during his three-week hiatus — Paul segues almost immediately into an extended plug for his Maverick merchandise line (given that YouTube has slashed his ad earnings in half, he says). Paul then reiterates that despite the criticism he’s received — including death threats and a petition to remove his channel from YouTube — he’s simply a good guy who made a bad decision: “I will never ever ever forget who I am at my core and no one can make me think I’m something otherwise.”
In the backyard of his $6.5 million mansion, Paul also takes an opportunity to thank supporters — including his legions of fans, whom he calls the ‘Logang’, as well as the TV host Dr. Phil, who publicly came to his defense.

Logan Paul Is Back! Is technically the second vlog that Paul has released in the wake of the suicide scandal. Late last month, Paul posted a solemn video in which he sought to understand the complexity of suicide, and also vowed to donate $1 million to suicide prevention organizations. The latest clip, however, sees Paul re-channeling his high-octane and oversized persona that millions of people across the globe have come to love (or hate).
