This Tubefilter Meetup with SAG•AFTRA is an invite-only event. You can request your invite right here.
Last September, the Federal Trade Commission (aka FTC)—a governmental agency that works to promote competition, and protect and educate consumers—issued a warning letter to 21 influencers who were allegedly in violation of the FTC’s Endorsement Guides. The warning was tied up in the first-ever FTC case brought against individual social media influencers, a case which finally settled in December.
Now more than ever, being compliant with FTC Endorsement Guides is critical to your business—whether you are a creator or a brand. But how can you make sure you know how to protect yourself when it comes to proper #Ad disclosures?
Fortunately, SAG•AFTRA, which boats an 85-year history of fighting for and securing the strongest protections for media artists, has synthesized the FTC Endorsement Guides into a set of streamlined best practices of dos and don’ts.
Join us as we host a panel of industry leaders from Tubefilter and SAG•AFTRA—as well as other executives in the brand partnership industry and beyond—as we dive into the FTC Endorsement Guidelines and discuss the future of branded content.
All creators welcome, but special VIP access for SAG•AFTRA members. Space is limited and it’s invite only, but you can request an invitation here and we’ll get back to you right away once you’re approved to attend. Details below:
