LeBron James, ‘Lip Sync Battle’ Producers Bring ‘Do Or Dare’ Series To Facebook Watch

Facebook’s latest addition to Watch, a celebrity competition show, will see the likes of Usher, Jermaine Dupri, Candace Cameron-Bure, and Terrell Owens undertaking over-the-top challenges for charity.

Do Or Dare will be hosted by comedian James Davis (pictured above). In episode one, Usher and Dupri will compete on behalf of their charities — Usher’s New Look and the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, respectively — with the winner taking home $25,000. Dares this season include crawling through a maze of mousetraps, going head-to-head with a sumo wrestler, and getting waxed. Other contestants include Gaten Matarazzo (Stranger Things), Tony Hale (Veep), singer Jason Derulo, Keke Palmer (Scream Queens), Yvonne Orji (Insecure), and pro baseball star CC Sabathia

.

Like many Watch shows, an interactive component will enable viewers to donate while they watch from the comfort of home. Over the course of the first season of 10 half-hour episodes, Do Or Dare will raise at least $500,000 for charity, Facebook says.
