Fullscreen Signs Film And TV Development Deal With Andrea Russett

Fullscreen has signed a film and television development deal with YouTube star Andrea Russett to create scripted and unscripted projects.

Russett, who counts 2.8 million subscribers on her YouTube channel, previously headlined an interview series called Apologies In Advance on Fullscreen’s eponymous subscription service, which the company plans to shutter next month. Russett tweeted her farewell to Apologies In Advance last month — the show ran for a total of two seasons — though it turns out the 23-year-old’s relationship with Fullscreen will live on.

“Andrea is one of Fullscreen’s homegrown talent, and we are incredibly excited to watch her career evolve,” general manager Beau Bryant said in a statement. “This deal further demonstrates our belief in Andrea’s continued growth into traditional, mainstream entertainment projects and our strategy of dedicating additional resources for our key talent.”
