Following the announcement that U.K. vloggers Caspar Lee and Joe Sugg have ceased ties with Gleam Futures — a leading digital talent management company that helped build the careers of many prominent U.K. creators — it appears as though fellow creator Alfie Deyes may have also departed the firm.

While Deyes — who is a close friend and collaborator of both Lee and Sugg — has yet to formally confirm any moves, the 24-year-old has tweeted in recent days about launching a new business venture. “The new company is really taking shape,” Deyes tweeted on Nov. 3, though he has not shared any details about its nature or scope. Lee and Sugg, who also announced their departure from Gleam on Nov. 3, are also slated to launch a new business — and they, too, have yet to furnish any details.

Another sign that Deyes may have departed Gleam? Fans across social media have noticed in recent days that his photo is no longer on the company’s official website, which showcases its illustrious talent roster. Photos of Sugg and Lee are also absent from the site, on which pictures of current Gleam creators appear, including Zoe Sugg (who is Deyes’ girlfriend and Joe Sugg’s sister), vlogger Marcus Butler, and lifestyle guru Louise Pentland.

Deyes, a daily vlogger who goes by the digital moniker Pointless Blog, has amassed a whopping 11.5 million subscribers across his three YouTube channels, where he has been posting videos for roughly seven years. He has also released a series of Pointless Book activity books, and is the proprietor of a merchandise company called The Creator Store. The Creator Store vends apparel and other products from YouTube stars like Mark Ferris, the Sugg siblings, Tanya Burr, Louis Cole, and Evan Edinger.

Fans on social media have been speculating about Deyes’ status at Gleam since late last month (see below). Gleam and Deyes did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
