Jukin Media Premieres Travel Series On Facebook’s Watch With Violet Benson, Tonio Skits

Jukin Media, a leader in the user-generated viral video space, is set to launch a brand new series called Checked Out on Facebook’s burgeoning Watch platform — a newly-launched hub for episodic, premium videos.

In Checked Out, influencers like Violet Benson (of Daddy Issues fame) and Vine star-turned-Instagram comedian Tonio Skits will recount notable travel stories, with user-generated videos and facts about unusual vacation destinations woven into the narrative. The five-episode series will also feature Instagram star Lou Lou Gonzalez, gaming creator 2MGoverCSquared, and HoodClips. It will cover hot spots like London, Israel, Panama, San Diego, and Cancun.

Facebook’s Watch began its nationwide rollout in August, and the social network is reportedly allotting $1 billion to fund content for the venture over the next year. A slew of digital-native stars have already launched original shows on the platform.
