Orion Carloto, like many other social star, is about to become a published author, but her entry into the literary world is very different from those of other digital stars. Carloto, a 20-year-old creator with about 478,000 followers on Instagram and 200,000 subscribers on YouTube, has written a collection of prose and poetry titled Flux.

Carloto’s videos, which range from visual poems to late-night musings, often share her poetic mindset with her viewers. She introduced Flux not with a straightforward vlog but through a trailer that describes her work in ambiguous verse.
