Kin Community is giving a few of its partners home makeovers in a way that is both entertaining and shoppable. The digital network has joined forces with Amazon Home for new episodes of its series Overhaul, in which YouTube stars get their spaces redone with items that can be purchased through each video.
Overhaul is hosted by Christiane Lemieux, an interior design maven and the co-founder of Cloth & Company. She first brought her skills to Kin Community in 2015, back when she worked for home decor brand Wayfair. In that version of Overhaul, Lemieux engineered a new space for YouTube star Rosanna Pansino, who will also appear in the new version of the show. The list of featured guests also includes makeup guru Teni Panosian.
In bringing the series to Amazon, Kin Community will present Overhaul on a platform that is bullish on shoppable content. The digital retailer recently launched a feed of shoppable content Spark, and it has teamed up with online video stars before in hopes of using their influence to drive sales. In Overhaul, the furniture Lemieux brings into her famous clients’ homes will be easily accessible for viewers, with much of it coming from her own lines. Additional videos posted to the YouTube channels of the featured creators will link to Amazon as well.

“The goal with this show is to both inspire and entertain,” Kin Community CEO Michael Wayne told Business Insider. “It’s unique in that it combines the power of Kin’s creator community, the award-winning quality of our production studio and commerce.”
Overhaul is expected to arrive on Amazon in September.
