The growing collection of music superstars attached to YouTube’s ad-supported original singing competition series Best.Cover.Ever. just got a little bit brighter.
Twenty-seven-year-old singer/songwriter Bebe Rexha will join previously-announced participants including Keith Urban, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Nicky Jam, the Backstreet Boys, and more. Best.Cover.Ever. capitalizes on YouTube’s popular cover video vertical, and will see aspiring musicians compete to sing duets with their favorite artists.
Entrants who wish to sing with Rexha are now invited to submit a cover video of her hit single I Got You — which has 175 million views on YouTube and counting — using the hashtag #BestCoverEver. Additional rules are available on the show’s official website, and Rexha’s call to action is below. “I love the idea of getting to collaborate with one of my talented fans and creating a super special moment with them,” she said in a statement. “I’m so excited to be part of this awesome new show, and can’t wait for everyone to see it.”
Best.Cover.Ever. will be hosted by Ludacris and is produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions and Endemol Shine North America. It premieres exclusively on YouTube this fall.
