YouTube Millionaires: Sylvia Gani Encourages Fellow Creators To “Be Consistent And Don’t Give Up”

Welcome to YouTube Millionaires, where we profile channels that have recently crossed the one million subscriber mark. There are channels crossing this threshold every week, and each has a story to tell about YouTube success. Read previous installments of YouTube Millionaires here.

On YouTube, Sylvia Gani is showing she has a colorful personality to match her makeup palette. The Canadian creator has found an audience for her videos, which often show off her favorite looks. When she’s not sharing beauty tips, she completes challenges, experiments with DIY projects, and catalogs her life through vlogs that often feature her boyfriend, fellow creator WolfieRaps. Now that Gani has more than one million subscribers, we asked her a few questions about her expanding digital career.

Tubefilter: How does it feel to have one million subscribers? What do you have to say to your fans?

Sylvia Gani: It’s incredible! I never thought I’d have so much support in doing something I absolutely love and I can’t thank my subscribers enough. My S-Club is everything to me.

TF: Why do you think your channel has been able to grow so rapidly over the past year?

SG: I definitely think the amount of support I get from viewers sharing my videos, telling their friends, and coming back to my channel to watch new videos has helped me grow tremendously.

TF: With so many beauty channels on YouTube, what would you say makes your unique?

SG: I like to keep my channel fun with diverse beauty-related content, whether it be testing weird beauty products, doing crazy makeup challenges, or interesting DIY’s! I would also like to think my personality keeps viewers around but who am I to say, haha.

TF: What’s the single most important tip you would give to one of your viewers?

SG: About being successful on YouTube? Be consistent and don’t give up!

TF: Do you have a favorite look out of all the ones you’ve shared on your channel?

SG: I created a floating skull look for this past halloween. I really like how it turned out.

TF: How do you balance the public nature of your relationship with your boyfriend with your shared desire for privacy?

SG: We both don’t mind sharing our lives/relationship with our fans, but we always make sure to save time for each other without social media or vlogging to keep it special between us.

TF: Is there a creator you haven’t done a video with who you’d like to collaborate with?

SG: There are plenty of talented creators I would love to collaborate with – I can’t decide on just one!

TF: What’s one area of the videomaking process where you still think you can improve?

SG: I’m always changing my editing style and learning of new techniques to try and make my videos better. I improve with each video I make.

TF: What’s next for your channel? Any fun plans?

SG: Of course, I’ll always have fun videos planned for my channel! I’ll continue to create content I’m proud of and that my subscribers love. Also, there might be some totally awesome S-Club merch coming soon…get excited.
