Want To Work For YouTube’s Biggest Star? PewDiePie Is Hiring.

Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg is undergoing a career transition of sorts, and now he’s looking to beef up his team.

According to a post on Kjellberg’s official Facebook page, the team is looking for a Brighton, U.K.-based production assistant. A permanent position, the job consists of creating content ideas for Kjellberg’s YouTube channel — the most-subscribed on all of the platform — as well as managing uploads and scheduling. A little under a day old, the Facebook post already counts roughly 15,000 likes and 500 shares.

Candidates must be 18 years or older and have previous experience in production, a deep understanding of video game and Internet culture, and knowledge of video editing programs Adobe Premier Pro and Sony Vegas, according to the post. Prospective applicants who meet the above criteria can apply right here.

Kjellberg already has some help with his channel. In a video last August, he thanked “Michael and Brad for helping me out with videos,” noting that he’d long approached his channel as solo endeavor, even as it grew to unforeseen heights, until working by himself every day became a depressing experience. Kjellberg credited Michael and Brad for helping to usher in a new wave of inspiration.

It remains to be seen if or how Kjellberg’s channel is bound to change after he was dropped by Maker Studios and YouTube Red for making a series of anti-Semitic jokes last month. In a recent video thanking his fans for their support, Kjellberg said that being network-less made him feel more committed and passionate about his content than ever, and “really, really excited about what opportunities that’s going to bring in.”
