President Donald Trump often tends to move his mouth in a large, exaggerated fashion when he speaks, and for YouTube’s most popular dubbing channel, that’s good news. Bad Lip Reading has returned for the first time in nearly two months. This time, the web series run by an anonymous individual took on Trump’s inauguration and gave viewers his translation of the words exchanged by America’s most powerful politicians past and present.
For this particular episode, Bad Lip Reading made use of the brief asides among Trump, Barack Obama, Mike Pence, Hillary Clinton, George W. Bush, and the other power players who attended the inauguration. In the Bad Lip Reading version of these events, most of the pre-ceremony chatter consists of petty insults and half-gibberish declarations. Since we couldn’t hear these dialogues on the actual broadcast, I’m now making the Bad Lip Reading version of those Inauguration Day discussions my official canon.

Bad Lip Reading is as infamous for its infrequent posting schedule as it is famous for its hilarious dubs, but the fact that the channel managed upload its fair share of election coverage is a good sign that more videos skewering Trump’s speeches are on the way. Even if they take a while to arrive, viewers can still (hopefully) expect Bad Lip Reading’s yearly take on the NFL to arrive just before the Super Bowl.
