Amanda Cerny Tapped As Contributing Social Editor By Live Music Platform LiveXLive

Vine phenom Amanda Cerny has inked a deal with live music platform LiveXLive to become its first contributing social editor. In this role, Cerny — who counts over 17 million collective followers across her social platforms, and who appeared in Fullscreen’s The Deleted as well as the Maker Studios mockumentary Internet Famous — will create original content for the platform targeting millennial viewers, as well as fellow influencers.

LiveXLive delivers live music performance videos as well as festival and concert coverage on its own website, and the network’s YouTube and Facebook channels clocked over 100 million views in 2016. The company also operates a LXL Studios division dedicated to helming original content — which is where Cerny’s work will appear.

“I couldn’t be more excited to join LiveXLive in distributing the ultimate live concert experiences for the world to enjoy,” said Cerny, who has appeared in music videos for the likes of DJ Chuckie

, Eli Roth, and Dillon Francis.

LXL Studios’ flagship show will be a music magazine-style news series, featuring Cerny and other social influencers, that gives fans behind-the-scenes glimpses at various music-related events across the globe. Programming is being spearheaded by Roger Mincheff and Anthony Kaan, the top execs at nascent digital studio Big Boots, who are developing a slate of scripted and unscripted originals.

“Comedy has become an integral part of top music festivals around the globe including at Outside Lands, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, ACL, and Voodoo,” said Rob Ellin, founder and CEO of LiveXLive, referring to Cerny’s comedic chops. “[Cerny’s] relevance to the social media zeitgeist will also draw awareness to LiveXLive and act as a blueprint for other top influencers to cross over into participation on the platform.”
