In order to echo the sentiment felt by half the country, Turner-owned comedy platform Super Deluxe went live on Facebook with an “election map” that showed the American nation in flames. That gag proved to be an immense success, drawing 22 million views across a four-hour broadcast.
The crackling inferno on Super Deluxe’s feed — an Election Night Yule Log of sorts — struck a chord with the anti-Trump crowd. The stream received 1.6 million reactions, including 800,000 likes, and its viewers left more than 160,000 comments. At its peak viewership, more than 69,000 people were simultaneously tuned in, and by its conclusion, 247,000 people had shared it with their Facebook friends.

Super Deluxe, which Turner officially launched in June 2016, is a revived version of an influential comedy destination from the early days of the online video industry. Beyond Facebook, the hub also maintains a robust presence on YouTube, where its videos have received more than 88 million views.
