DanceOn To Debut Go90 Docuseries With Viral ‘Whip/Nae Nae’ Star Heaven King

Dance-centric multi-platform network (aka MPN) DanceOn announced today a brand new docuseries titled Raising Heaven slated to premiere on Monday on Verizon’s go90 mobile video platform. The series will follow six-year-old Heaven King and her mother, Tianne, as the two navigate their way through the dance industry in New York City. The first season of Raising Heaven will comprise six 22-minute episodes, which will premiere every Monday exclusively on DanceOn’s go90 channel.

Heaven is a viral star whose dance cover video for Silento’s Watch Me, (Whip, Nae/Nae) has been viewed more than 178 million times, making it the biggest trending video of 2015, according to YouTube. Tianne is a single mother, Heaven’s manager, and a YouTube personality in her own right, who created the Mommy & Me Entertainment brand to serve as the parent company for forthcoming ventures. (Mommy & Me served as an executive producer for Raising Heaven).

“Heaven is my number one priority and I can’t wait to show the love and passion we share for family, friends, and, of course, dance,” Tianne said in a statement. Adds DanceOn CEO Amanda Taylor

Heaven and Tianne have released several viral dance videos for songs by Beyonce, Fifth Harmony, and more. The two also appeared together on The Ellen Degeneres Show.

DanceOn is a go90 content partner and is slated to develop more than 25 original series for the platform through 2017, including: Every Single Step from American Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe; the reality series Chachi’s World featuring creator Chachi Gonzales; and Dance-Off Juniors, starring choreographer Matt Steffanina. DanceOn’s parent company, izo, says its creator network has accounted for five billion lifetime views from an audience of 88 million followers and fans.
