go90 To Premiere New Form Digital Thriller ‘Cold’, Starring Annalise Basso And Marcus Johns

New Form Digital has revealed the cast for its latest thriller, Cold, which is set to premiere on Verizon’s mobile video go90 platform on Oct. 13.

The actress Annalise Basso — who has appeared in Ouija 2, New Girl, and True Blood — will star as 16-year-old Isla Wallis. In Cold, Wallis discovers that her biological father is in prison for killing her birth mother. Wallis, who has never met her mother, then runs away to the remote mining town where she was born, where she ends up stranded in the sub-zero wilderness as she starts to uncover a series of brutal murders.

Basso will be joined by Todd Lowe (Gilmore Girls, True Blood), who will play her father, as well as Jim True-Frost (The Wire, Boardwalk Empire), the Canadian actress Devery Jacobs and Vine

star Marcus Johns. The 10-episode series was created and directed by Emily Diana Ruth, who originally debuted the pilot as part of New Form’s Incubator initiative in June 2015. Mike Sussman (12 Monkeys, Star Trek) served as head writer, and New Form’s chief creative officer Kathleen Grace and SVP of development and production Melissa Schneider served as executive producers.

“We couldn’t be more proud to bring Emily’s vision to life with this stellar cast from some of television’s best dramas,” Schneider said in a statement. “We are excited about what this team was able to create and can’t wait to share with audiences on go90 — it will be sure to keep them on the edge of their seats.”
