DC Entertainment To Celebrate One Million Subscribers With Full-Day Stream

DC Entertainment’s latest feature film may not be a big hit, but the big-name comics publisher can at least take solace in the fact that it is thriving on YouTube. The studio’s channel recently surpassed one million subscribers, and to celebrate, it has announced an eight-hour live stream that will occur on September 2nd.

The DC stream will go live on the company’s YouTube channel at 9 am PT on the 2nd. It will feature interviews with the some of the creators who are responsible for the colorful heroes of the DC universe, as well as other additional content to fill in the gaps. The stream will be led by Tiffany Smith and Jason Inman, who serve as the DC YouTube channel’s primary hosts.

“[It’s] exciting to see what we’ve accomplished in just three years,” said DC Entertainment director of digital marketing content Paul Malmont in a statement, “Now, more than ever, we’re committed to bringing unique, entertaining stories about all things DC to our fans. The first-ever DC All Access all-day live stream event is a thank you to our fans for their support.”
