Supergravity Debuts Trailer For Ryan Higa-Starring Horror Film ‘Tell Me How I Die’

Digital studio Supergravity has released a trailer for its latest feature film, a thriller titled Tell Me How I Die. The film stars YouTube megastar Ryan Higa, a 26-year-old vlogger who launched his YouTube channel roughly a decade ago and currently counts close to 18 million subscribers.

Higa jokingly tweeted his surprise about the film’s forthcoming release on Sept. 16 in select theaters and online — given that he says he shot it back in the 90s.

Tell Me How I Die tells the story of a group of college students who opt to participate in a memory-enhancing clinical science experiment for $2,000. After being injected with the drug, however, participants start to experience side effects, including the ability to envision their own deaths. “As they scramble to outsmart and outmaneuver their date with death,” according to a synopsis on the film’s website, “they realize that the killer is among them and shares their ability to see the future.”

In addition to Higa, the cast is rounded out by iCarly star Nathan Kress, Virginia Gardner, and Kirby Bliss Blanton. Tell Me How I Die was produced by Big Block Media and Base Station in association with Supergravity (whose co-founder, Marc Hustvedt, is also a co-founder of Tubefilter) and Culprit Creative. It was written by Entertainment Weekly’s editor at large, James Hibberd.
