Disney Teams With LaurDIY, Meredith Foster, And Jaleesa Moses On Fashion Travel Series

Disney is partnering with a posse of high-profile beauty and fashion vloggers on a new five-part travel series titled Destination: Disney Style. Starring LaurDIY (Lauren Riihimaki), Meredith Foster, Jaleesa Moses, and Lucy And Lydia Connell, the series — which premiered today on the Disney Style YouTube channel — aims to promote Disney clothing and merchandise across the globe, Variety reports.

The premiere episode sees Riihimaki voyaging to Tokyo to explore how Disney characters are incorporated into local fashion. Riihimaki also travels to Tokyo Disneyland, interviews local style influencers, and showcases Disney’s collaborations with local fashion brands and retailers.

Future episodes, per Variety, will follow Moses at Shanghai Fashion Week, featuring Minnie Mouse-inspired fashions from Chinese designers, while Foster will meet with the Coach creative team to discuss its Mickey Mouse collection. Additionally, identical twin vloggers Lucy & Lydia will cover the launch of the Disney x Cath Kidston

collection and explore British Disney street style. On the series finale, Riihimaki will provide a sneak peek at the Disney-Pixar x Forever 21 collection.

“From the catwalk in Shanghai to the sidewalk in New York, this new series sees YouTube’s biggest fashion stars explore what Disney style means around the globe,” said Josh Silverman, EVP of global licensing at Disney Consumer Products And Interactive Media, in a statement. Destination: Disney Style is a production of the newly-formed Disney Consumer Products And Interactive Media division, according to Variety, which combines Disney’s consumer products and games and digital media units.
