White Label Video Service Unreel.Me Announces Slew Of New Features, Monetization Tools

Unreel.me, a startup that lets users build their own streaming services — which they can then proliferate on desktop, mobile, and over-the-top devices — has announced several new features and monetization opportunities.

The white label service says the new features will “empower Unreel.me creators, brands, and publishers running their own video networks on the platform to better engage audiences, distribute content, and earn more revenue from owned videos,” according to a press release.

Among the new features are: SupportMe Donations, which will enable creators to accept virtual tips; Dynamic Content, which auto-creates playlists for viewers based on individual preferences; Coupons to offer viewers discounts on content; a ReelGenie Highlight Reel, which can create a promo clip by stringing together a user’s most popular videos using A.I. tech; the ability to push videos to RSS feeds; and a new Instant Subscriptions button.

“At Unreel, we’re singularly focused on helping creators build and monetize their own brand, and that means going beyond creating a new viewing window,” said co-founder and CEO Dan Goikhman in a statement. He added that “this first new set of features” will provide more monetization opportunities, improve fan engagement, and help content reach more eyeballs.

In April, Unreel announced its Creator Appreciation Fund — an initiative that pledges to let users keep 100% of the revenue they generate through their services — up to the first $1 million generated by Unreel as a whole.
