Fans Rush Stage At Dolan Twins ‘4OU Tour’, Resulting In 28 Injuries And 7 Hospitalizations

At the Dolan Twins New Jersey tour stop last Saturday evening, as many as 28 teenage girls were injured when fans rushed the stage as temperatures inside the iPlay America venue surged. Fans had to be treated for hyperventilation, ankle injuries, and bloody noses, police told the Asbury Park Press, and seven were taken to a nearby hospital for heat-related health issues.

“Even before they came out, when a video of them started, that’s when it started,” a chaperone of two tween attendees told the APP. “”It was just a rush and a blur,” added 14-year-old Meghan Roberts. “I couldn’t even comprehend what was happening. There was like pushing and shoving going on in all directions. People were crying. The security guards weren’t really too helpful.”

The ‘4OU Tour’ — shorthand for ‘For You’ — will see the 16-year-old twin heartthrobs, who rose to fame on Vine, stopping in 12 cities over the course of June and July. The tour, which is being produced by Mills Entertainment, features  comedy, live music, meet-and-greets, and surprise opening acts.

The trampling became such an ordeal that the guys had to temporarily leave the stage — whereupon Grayson Dolan, plead with fans via Twitter: “Please take a seat and a deep breath. Once everyone is seated the show will continue.” Added Ethan: “We’re all a fam. We want the show to go on.” After the arrival of roughly 10 ambulances, security and organizers had the crowd under control in about 20 minutes, reports the APP, and the guys were able to go back on.

The 4OU Tour is next slated to stop in Maryland this Saturday evening.
