Dozens of YouTube creators are celebrating the upcoming Academy Awards by hosting their own videos commenting on this year’s nominees, but few channels have offered as comprehensive coverage as Fandango’s Movieclips. The film-focused brand has released a plethora of Oscar-related content, including a Best Picture-themed edition of the Reel Kids web series.
In Reel Kids, host Dan Perrault asks a (mostly) oblivious group of kids for their opinions on the year’s best movies. Their responses are cute enough to make Reel Kids a passable replacement for the Kids Reenact Oscar Nominees series, which as far as I can tell did not return in 2016.
Fandango’s Oscar coverage also includes a mashup of the Best Picture nominees, new episodes of its Frontrunners web series, and trailers for the nominated films. If you watch all the videos in this playlist, you’ll be able to spout plenty of opinions on Sunday without ever having to sit through any of the movies (if that’s what you want).
