Social Media Stars Beat Each Other Up In New App Called ‘Celebrity Street Fight’

PewDiePie and his gaming friends aren’t the only YouTube content creators lending their likenesses to a new video game. MobileX Labs has released Celebrity Street Fight, which pits top social media stars against one another in one-on-one combat.

Celebrity Street Fight wears its influences on its sleeve for all to see. Its visual style is reminiscent of the old MTV show Celebrity Deathmatch, while its gameplay carries the look and feel of old-school 2D fighting games. The app itself is free, but it features microtransactions that can unlock additional moves and powerups.

The main difference between the new game and Celebrity Deathmatch is Street Fight’s choice of celebrity. More than a dozen YouTube and Vine stars appear in the game, including Ali-A, DeStorm, KSI, and TheDiamondMinecraft. Upon the game’s release, its stars hyped it up by showing it off on their respective channels. Here’s Dan from TheDiamondMinecart giving it a spin:
