Landscapes has arrived. The 12-track album curated by YouTube star Anthony “Lohanthony” Quintal is now available from iTunes and Google Play.
Landscapes, which was first announced in August, features music from some of the artists who 16-year-old Quintal has enjoyed of late. The goal is to provide some more exposure for these musicians, all of whom are relatively unheralded. “Music is a huge part of my life, and I really wanted to showcase artists that ooze fabulousness on my first album,“ said Quintal in a press release. “For me, Landscapes represents an escape from reality, and every track off of my album is guaranteed to rescue you from those back-to-school blues!”
With his album, Quintal has joined the musical label Heard Well, which was founded earlier this year by another YouTube star, vlogger Connor Franta. Landscapes marks the first album from Heard Well beyond the ones Franta himself has curated and released. Will it lead to an influx of YouTube stars making their mark on the recording industry? Franta has already achieved big sales. Now, it’s Lohanthony’s turn.
