Adande “Swoozie” Thorne Is Latest YouTube Star To Join CAA

Talent agencies have their eyes on digital stars, and the latest creator to benefit from this trend is Adande Thorne. The 26-year-old YouTube content creator, who posts videos under the username Swoozie, has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Swoozie, who has more than 2.7 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, is best known for his animation-fueled vlogs, in which he explores topics like school, love, and sex. He is also an accomplished gamer who appeared on SyFy’s WCG Ultimate Gamer, a reality show that ran between 2009 and 2010.

When YouTube stars sign with Hollywood talent agencies, it usually signals interest in traditional media projects. That seems to be part of part of Swoozie’s plan, too; as THR notes, he is one of the content creators who will appear in Bob Thunder: Digital Assassin, an upcoming feature film.
