AOL Drops Trailer For First Long-Form Series ‘Connected’

AOL Originals is giving audiences a sneak peek at its first-ever long-form web series. The digital network released the trailer for Connected, set to premiere on March 31, 2015.

Based on a hit Israeli reality television series by Koda Communications, AOL’s Connected will feature 20 episodes personally filmed by several different New York City residents. The New Yorkers hold varying professions, ranging from interior designer to tech executive to stand-up comedian, and they were each given cameras to document their lives over the period of six months. The resulting stories exemplify the lives of New York society as a whole.

AOL announced the development of Connected back in April 2014. The media corporation had hoped to release the series starting in January 2015, but eventually settled on a release date of March 31. Sponsored by Sprint, Connected is produced by Koda alongside Warrior Poets. AOL’s Dermot McCormack, Warrior Poets’ Morgan Spurlock, and Koda’s Ram Landes and Ami Teer are executive producers.

Tune in to AOLOriginals.com on March 31 for the premiere episode of Connected. Four new episodes will be available each week following the series’ debut.
