Jerome Jarre is best known for his short videos on Snapchat and Vine, but the French prankster also runs a thriving YouTube channel, on which he claims more than 900,000 subscribers. On Valentine’s Day, Jarre teamed up with his most famous collaborator yet, as actor Christopher Walken helped him support the Tribeca Film Institute.
In Jarre’s Valentine’s Day video, both he and Walken don earpieces while facing each other. Jarre’s earpiece connected him to a man who hoped to propose to his long-distance girlfriend. Luckily for him, she was connected to Walken’s earpiece and eager to talk to him through their respective surrogates. While the two lovers chatted with each other, Walken and Jarre acted out the proposal in real time. Walken, of course, is a pro when it comes to dramatic recitations.

The video is more than just a cute profession of Valentine’s Day love. It is also the introduction to Jarre’s Prizeo campaign, through which he is raising money for the Tribeca Film Institute. The NYC-based nonprofit works with underserved students and filmmakers around the world by giving them opportunities to tell stories that otherwise might not be heard.
As with other Prizeo campaigns, everyone who contributes at least $5 to Jarre’s fundraiser will be entered into a grand prize raffle. The winner will join Jarre at Tribeca Film Festival, where he or she will attend a party hosted by Robert De Niro and appear in a Snapchat with Jarre.
