Endemol Launches New Michelle Phan Show, Teams With Kurzgesagt YouTube Channel

Endemol Beyond has some new content on the way for its audiences to enjoy. The YouTube multi-channel network has launched a new show starring Michelle Phan called Skinside Out and has also added Kurzgesagt – In a Nutshell to its roster of creative partners.

In Phan’s Skinside Out web series, the YouTube beauty vlogger and entrepreneur extraordinaire (who also has three other series in the works with Endemol) will discuss how specific ingredients affect skin health. Phan will also reveal recipes for facial and body products to help viewers better take care of their skin. The series debuts on Michelle Phan’s channel on February 6, 2015, with exclusive episodes premiering on February 12 on beyondUSA’s FAWN channel.

Endemol has also added a new channel to its lineup of international creative talent. Education-based animation channel Kurzgesagt

has signed with endemolGERMANY. While the channel’s title is definitely of Germanic origin (it means “in a nutshell”), Kurzgesagt’s videos are all in English, which should help Endemol further build the channel’s current subscriber base of over 400,000 subscribers beyond the Kurzgesagt’s native country.

In addition to these news bits, Endemol Beyond recently launched a travel food show starring Andy Milonakis and helped Mr. Worldwide (aka Pitbull) get two of his own web series off the ground. The MCN currently boasts over 450 million monthly views across 300 channels.
