Tube Centrex Gives YouTube Channels Another Option For Apps

A new startup is looking to find its niche in the space currently occupied by companies like Victorious and Beachfront Builder. Tube Centrex, a startup launched by Fahad Khan, will build apps for YouTubers, brands, and media companies.

Khan previously founded One Public, a Facebook marketing company, and now he’s moved his focus to YouTube. Tube Centrex’s platform will help YouTube channel owners achieve three significant goals: It will consolidate videos from sites like YouTube and Vimeo while also monetizing those videos on mobile and allowing users to manage their videos.

Those goals sound fairly standard, and while Khan acknowledges his platform’s similarities to Victorious, he believes Tube Centrex has a wider reach. Instead of focusing on YouTubers, the startup will also cater to brands, whom it will change $10,000 a month. At the same time, the service will be free for individuals. “If you have great YouTube content, regardless of whether you’re a brand or an individual, you need my platform,” Khan told TechCrunch.
