For the seventh week in a row, DisneyCollectorBR is in the #1 spot on the worldwide chart. The ever-growing online video catalog of videos of adults playing with children’s toys witnessed a 6% bump in views to top 94 million views on the week. PewDiePie is next up, settling into the second place position. Felix Kjellberg’s collection of gaming videos saw a 5% uptick in views to end the week with more than 86.8 million of them.
Taylor Swift is still not shaking off her #3 spot. Music videos from the pop star’s 1989 album continue to get plays and helped Swift’s channel amass nearly 80.1 million views during the week. A music video channel with a slightly younger demographic is up next in fourth place. LittleBabyBum‘s catalog of famous children’s songs ended the seven-day stretch with more than 77.3 million views.
And rounding out the Top 5 is GetMovies. The popular Russian channel took a 22% dip in its view count and bottomed out on the week just shy of 57.3 million views.

Top Gainers
The honor of our Top Gainer this week goes to Clash of Clans.
The freemium massive multi-player mobile game brought to the world by publisher Supercell launched an onslaught of television commercials this holiday season. Those spots, in addition to a robust online video marketing campaign helped the video game’s YouTube destination to a 2,651% week-over-week increase in views. Videos like Flight of the Barbarian caused the channel to score nearly 29.4 million views and occupy the #40 spot on the Worldwide chart.
Distribution
All in all, the top 50 most viewed YouTube channels accounted for 2,031,845,195 views last week. Here’s the distribution of a few of those channels by multi-channel network:
- VEVO: 13 channels in the Top 50, with Taylor Swift at #3.
- Maker Studios: 6 channels in the Top 50, with PewDiePie at #2.
- BuzzFeed, Machinima, XMediaDigital: 2 channels each in the Top 50, with BuzzFeed’s BuzzFeed Video at #9, Machinima’s VanossGaming at #24, and XMediaDigital’s GetMovies at #5.
And here’s the distribution of the this week’s Top 50 YouTube channels by country of origin:
- United States: 29 channels in the Top 50.
- Great Britain: 6 channels in the Top 50.
- Canada, India: 3 channels each in the Top 50.
