It only took DeStorm a few hours after his MTVu music video debut to find himself garnering some mainstream attention. YouTube’s favorite rapper has shown up on gossip blog TMZ, where he freestyles about changing his oil.
Even as his an exquisitely produced video hits TV, DeStorm’s candid freestyle demonstrates his ability to spontaneously rhyme words with other words in a rhythmic fashion. I’ve heard this process described as “rapping”, and my sources tell me that DeStorm is pretty good at it, especially on his new King Kong mixtape. Those are the rumors I can report at this time. Can I write for TMZ now?
