The mockumentary comedy series follows Marty Forrest, owner and manager of a local medicinal marijuana dispensary whose job is more than just selling pot—it’s about keeping his sanity in our troubled economic times. “It’s a workplace comedy not just specific to marijuana, but could have the same underlying issues and dynamics as any other company would,” says series creator Danny Lee. The series was shot at a real marijuana clinic belonging to a friend of Lee’s.
The Clinic stars Joe Hursley as Marty, with Caroline D’Amore, Luke Massy, Gabbriella Gatto, Ben Baller, and Paul McCarthy Boyington. All six episodes were released today exclusively on Hulu.
