Break Media gets pitched web series all the time, and probably by no shortage of two twentysomething dudes who think they have the second coming of Jackass. So it’s worth a look when Break actually bites and takes them up on such boastful claims.
Jeff Sloniker and Curtis Rainsberry, both comedy regulars at UCB in LA, are the latest lucky duo to get a web series pickup with The Bro Show premiering today. Only catch is they don’t exactly know what’s going to happen to them each episode. It’s fairly standard reality fare with Break producers throwing a slew of challenges at the the two guys—like mastering a synchronized skating routine and taking hockey pucks to the chest in goal against LA Kings forward Wayne Simmonds. Also on deck: Cowboy Bootcamp, Trapeze School, and Stunt Man Training.

Officially the series is only slated for a three-episode trial run to gauge interest from Break’s male-heavy audience. Word from Break is that already there has been some strong brand interest in backing this unsponsored series, and that it’s highly likely there will be more episodes in the works. The next two releases are set for June 7 and June 24th.
