Last Hollywood Web Television Meetup Before the Streamys!

Just a quick reminder that tonight is our February Hollywood Web Television Meetup at maniaTV Studios in Los Angeles. It looks like it’s going to be very well attended—we’ve locked the playlist for the Web Television Showcase, featuring original web series from the Meetup Community. Thanks for all your submissions!

After the screening we have a live taping of maniaTV’s Stage 5 with performances by hip-hop artist Pigeon John and his band Rootbeer (featuring Flynn Adam), and open bar provided courtesy of maniaTV.

Peter Hoskins, CEO of maniaTV, will be updating us all on their new projects, the folks at Episodic will be giving away beta accounts for their web series video player, there’s a gaming area set up on the stage of maniaTV’s Arcade

where you can challenge Rob, Turtle and the Arcade team, and Leah D’Emilio of Mahalo Daily will be announcing a new venture that involves the web series creative community. Oh and there is an open bar. Did we mention that?

KoldCast TV, TechZulu, Stickam, and others will be covering the event. If you’re taking photos, make sure to tag them on flickr with the machine tag upcoming:event=1496691 so we can pull them into one album.
