August 10 will be the ultimate “Bones Day” in New York City. On that day, fans of Noodle the Pug will gather at City Winery in Manhattan for a memorial service that will remember the life of the TikTok-famous dog.
Noodle became an internet sensation in 2021, and he didn’t have to leave his bed to do it. Each morning, his owner Jon Graz held him upright before letting him go. If Noodle stood up under his own power, it was a Bones Day. If he fell over, No Bones. Noodle became the internet’s answer to Punxatawney Phil and a moodsetter for Graz’s TikTok followers (who now number more than 4.4 million).
Graz managed to parlay Noodle’s lack of energy into a number of offline ventures. Simon and Schuster’s No Bones Day children’s book became a New York Times best-seller, and Graz created playlists to fit both Bones Day and No Bones Day moods.

But all good things must eventually end, and despite the internet’s love for Noodle, the pug passed away last December at the age of 14. For the past eight months, there’s been no “Bones Day” wisdom to guide us through our days, but Graz is giving East Coast residents three chances to send off the dear departed dog.
The memorial service, titled Live Noodz: A Night of Noodle comes to Philadelphia on August 8. A show in Boston follows on the ninth, and the August 10 event in New York completes Graz’s mini-tour.
Graz will host the Live Noodz festivities and will discuss the life he lived with Noodle. According to the show’s event page, it “will combine stand-up comedy, storytelling, and more.” Tickets start between $30-35 and range up to $100 for VIP packages.
If you can’t make it to the memorial services, you can still celebrate Noodle on the platform that made him famous. Graz occasionally reminisces about his Bones Day hero, and the beloved pug will live on in more children’s books. Another Simon and Schuster-published title, Noodle Conquers Comfy Mountain, is due out in November.
