Chart Toppers
MaviGadget swept our Global and U.S. Top 50 charts during the last two weeks of February. The YouTube Shorts hub earned its second consecutive #1 finish after bringing in 711.8 million weekly views during the last week of February. MaviGadget now has more than 20 billion lifetime YouTube views, most of which have come on its short-form content. As impressive as that number is, the next three channels in the U.S. Top 50 all have at least twice as many lifetime views. I guess MaviGadget will have to keep on counting.
Vlad and Niki finished just behind MaviGadget for the second week in a row. The globetrotting family channel rode the charm of its titular stars to 495.7 million weekly views and a #2 finish in the U.S. Top 50. Vlad and Niki head all around the world for their adventures, and they have a global audience to match. Videos on their primary channel reach more than 112 million subscribers, and they’ve picked up 86.1 billion lifetime views to date.
MrBeast took third in this week’s U.S. Top 50. With 418.1 million weekly views on his primary YouTube channel, Jimmy Donaldson lagged behind the leaders in our star-spangled ranking. MrBeast’s subscriber count of 241 million, on the other hand, is the highest among all U.S.-based YouTube channels. Donaldson is within 20 million subs of T-Series, the worldwide leader in that category. MrBeast may become the most-subscribed channel on YouTube sometime this year.
Toys and Colors is up next in the U.S. Top 50. The family-friendly entertainment destination amused its audience of toddlers to the tune of 333.1 million weekly views during the final week of February. Toys and Colors has fallen off the pace it set last year, when it reached #1 in this chart multiple times. For now, it ranks #4 in the U.S. Top 50.
Rainbow Friends Fans rounds out this week’s U.S. top five. As I discussed in this week’s Global Top 50 writeup, Rainbow Friends is a popular horror title built through the game creation platform Roblox. By delivering an arsenal of Gen Alpha memes to its 3.8 million subscribers, Rainbow Friends Fans picked up 323 million weekly views.
Top Gainers
Logan Chitwood is the strongest man on YouTube Shorts — except when his son gets in the way. The former MLB pitcher now makes a living by cosplaying as a specific anime character in comedic, family-friendly Shorts.
Chitwood’s alter ego is Yujiro Hanma, the primary antagonist of the series Baki the Grappler. Unlike Yujiro, Chitwood uses his powers for fun, not villainy. His son is the one with the mischievous streak — he undermines his dad’s strength through pranks and hijinks.

Chitwood and his son are an entertaining duo on YouTube Shorts. Dad’s channel got 112 million weekly views at the end of February, reaching 37th place in the U.S. Top 50. Chitwood earned his highest-ever chart position after increasing his YouTube traffic by 18% week-over-week. Such is the power of Giga Chad and Sigma Son.
Though he has a ways to go before he reaches the top of our charts, Chitwood has some advantages that could help him stand out. After all, if he runs into any other Shorts creators, he can always beat them up.
Channel Distribution
This week, there are 37 YouTube Shorts channels in the U.S. Top 50.
