On YouTube, more than 11 million subscribers have gotten to know Morphle, a bright red character who can shift into any shape its human friends can imagine. Now, that family-friendly sensation is coming to Disney Junior and Disney+ with a new series called Morphle and the Magic Pets.
When it premieres on March 20, Morphle and the Magic Pets will introduce Disney+ subscribers to the 3D-animated characters who have brought in more than eight billion lifetime views on the official Morphle YouTube channel. The series will follow Mila and her stepbrother Jordie as they help Morphle solve problems within a world of adventure.
Moonbug Entertainment, the media company that works with kid-friendly franchises like CoComelon and Blippi, co-created Morphle and the Magic Pets alongside Disney Branded Television. According to Deadline, the initial run of the streaming series will include 52 seven-minute episodes and 50 three-minute shorts.

By recognizing the potential its properties have on streaming services like Netflix, Moonbug has crafted multiplatform empires that reach tens of millions of young viewers. Now, the company is plotting a similar “evolution” for Morphle. “We have big aspirations for the franchise, fueled by Morphle’s transformational powers and the richness of the magic pet universe,” said Moonbug GM of Morphle Olivia Chausson in a statement. “This year we are supercharging growth across new audience touchpoints, and are delighted to share Morphle and the Magic Pets with families across the globe.”
Moonbug’s previous Morphle ventures have included branded product lines, which emerged out of a global toy licensing deal announced in 2020. The hit kids’ franchise is based on My Magic Pet Morphle, a series created by Dutch animator Arthur van Merwijk.
