November 2023 was a diverse month in our worldwide charts. The 100 channels that got the most YouTube views over that 30-day span included representatives from 26 different countries.

But that diversity didn’t quite reach the top five, where two countries hogged all of the available positions.
Chart Toppers
Was the November run of Toys and Colors an anomaly or a sign of things to come? That’s a question we’re asking ourselves after watching the family-friendly hub earn three #1 finishes in our weekly charts. Those seven-day successes added up to a big month: Toys and Colors accrued 2.73 billion monthly views to lead our Global Top 100 for the first time ever. Recent results seem to indicate that Toys and Colors has since fallen off its torrid November pace, but it still ranks as one of the biggest children’s entertainment destinations on YouTube, and it figures to retain that status for the immediate future.
As Toys and Colors experienced a huge month, T-Series stayed right behind it. The Indian record label finished in second place in all three of the weekly top 50s led by Toys and Colors. As for the monthly Top 100? T-Series is in familiar territory. It earned runner-up status after claiming 2.52 billion monthly views. T-Series is still the most-watched and most-subscribed YouTube channel of all time, and even though MrBeast is gaining ground in both of those categories, his Indian competition will hold onto its records through the end of 2023.
Speaking of MrBeast, he finished in third place in November’s Global Top 100. That represented a bit of a slump for Jimmy Donaldson, who topped the October edition of their chart. But even if Donaldson’s primary hub has fallen a few spots, it (arguably) holds more cultural influence than any other YouTube channel. And its 30-day traffic wasn’t bad, either: That sum amounted to 2.03 billion monthly views, giving Donaldson a second straight month about the two billion view mark.
KL BRO Biju Rithvik is the first of two family-oriented Indian channels in this month’s global top five. KL BRO, which posts videos in the regional language of Malayalam, earned a fourth-place finish in the latest Global Top 100. Thanks to an 18% month-over-month bump, KL BRO moved up one spot in our ranking — but it fell just short of two billion. Its viewership total topped out at 1.99 billion monthly views. So close! I’m sure the young star of the KL BRO videos (and his supportive family) won’t mind.
Anaya Kandhal is the #5 channel in the Global Top 100 and the highest-ranking hub that operates predominantly on Shorts. Little Anaya and her family gathered a big audience in November, picking up 1.85 billion monthly views.
Top Gainers
Jake Paul may be YouTube’s most famous and accomplished boxer, but Tibo In Shape in gunning for that title. The lone French representative in this month’s Global Top 100 is putting together a training regimen that could make him the strongest fighter on the internet.
But before I get into too many anime tropes, let’s talk about the strategies Tibo has used to make his first-ever appearance in our monthly ranking. As the name of his channel implies, his specialty is fitness videos, but he’s far from a typical meathead. Instead, he injects his workout videos with drama, storylines, and narratives, which allows him to hook casual viewers while still catering to veteran gym rats.
Want some examples of what I mean? Check out some of Tibo’s most-watched Shorts. He has a motivational backstory, a natural sense of comedic timing, and domestic bliss with his partner JuJuFitCats. His #1 all-time Short features an editing trick Zach King would be proud of (and more than 174 million total views).
Those videos contributed to Tibo’s best month ever on YouTube Shorts. In November, he collected 767.6 million monthly views, which landed him in 61st place in the Global Top 100. That total was about 41% more views than the amount Tibo pulled in during October. All those reps are paying off, as Tibo now has seven billion lifetime views on YouTube.
Tibo’s fully-fleshed-out Shorts persona gives his videos a stronger pull while also facilitating easy collabs with other creators. He kind of reminds me of a French version of Italian-American “pasta betch” QCP, except he wears a shirt with slightly more frequency.
