There are two types of channels in the top five of this week’s Global Top 50: The stalwarts and the upstarts.

The former group includes three channels that regularly rank among the most-watched hubs on YouTube. The two other channels that earned top five distinctions did so by riding significant week-over-week traffic increases.
Chart Toppers
When it comes to our Global Top 50, MrBeast is becoming the biggest stalwart of them all. Thus far in October, Jimmy Donaldson‘s primary YouTube channel has led every iteration of our Top 50 charts. Donaldson continued his hot streak by picking up 617.1 million weekly views during the third full week of the month. That total pushed the MrBeast channel past 35 billion lifetime views. Donaldson only needs to add a cool 200 billion to that total to catch the channel that leads YouTube in lifetime views. Speaking of which…
T-Series posted its third-straight runner-up finish in the Global Top 50. The Indian record label typically moves between the top three positions in our ranking, and it maintained its superlative status by adding 539.5 million weekly views. T-Series’ YouTube records include most lifetime views and most subscribers. If MrBeast keeps up his current subscriber rate, he may catch his Indian rival in that category, but T-Series will likely remain the all-time most-watched YouTube channel for years to come.
One of the biggest upward moves in this week’s Global Top 50 came in the #3 spot. That’s where Vlad and Niki landed after scoring a week-over-week viewership bump of 84%. A week ago, the family vlog led by its two titular siblings lingered in 24th place in our worldwide ranking. Now, it’s in third after collecting 504.1 million weekly views. Vlad and Niki’s seven-day total led all kidfluencer channels, and it was one of only three hubs to secure at least 500 million views during the week that was. Not bad for a pair of pre-tweens.
Another kid-friendly channel ranked #4 in the latest Global Top 50. Toys and Colors has been in and out of our rankings over the past few years, but it routinely picks up millions of views per month. During the third full week of October, Toys and Colors used its bright array of YouTube uploads to claim 419.7 million weekly views. It’s one of nine channels among the current Global Top 50 entrants with at least 50 billion lifetime views on YouTube.
Last week, Moosa Tv Info ranked 15th in the Global Top 50, but it moved up to fifth after raising its viewership by 30% week-over-week. In total, the Pakistani channel counted 399.6 million weekly views.
Top Gainers
Online video trends vary by country. Indian creators often deliver family-focused stories. American creators love their practical jokes. Meanwhile, the Canadians are just trying to do the coolest jumps possible.
A thriving parkour community is developing north of the border, and it’s taking over YouTube Shorts. Earlier this year, we discussed the moves Matt Larose made in order to emerge as a top short-form creator. Now, there’s another parkour athlete in the Global Top 50: It’s Larose’s friend and compatriot, Nick Pro.
Thanks to his shocking red hair and his impressive freerunning abilities, Nick Pro is a hard person to miss. You may have seen him in your Shorts feed: He’s the guy who enjoys jumping through emoji-shaped holes, playing “the floor is lava” IRL, and challenging Larose to high-flying tic-tac-toe matches.
Larose also provides an assist in Nick Pro’s most-watched YouTube Shorts video. The former athlete holds up a series of shrinking hoops and invites his buddy to contort his way through them. Luckily, you don’t have to jump through hoops in order to watch Nick Pro pull of his stunts. So far, his top Short has picked up 322 million views.
Thanks to his impressive set of skills, Nick Pro has improved his chart position by leaps and bounds. During the third week of October, he collected 221.6 million weekly views, which put him in 31st place in the Global Top 50. He was one of two Canadian representatives in the chart, and his main YouTube channel has now picked up more than six billion lifetime views. That’s almost as impressive as the last of those hoop jumps he made.
Turns out there’s more to Canada than just hockey and Tim Horton’s. But that leads to another question: Can Nick Pro perform the same stunts while wearing skates? You bet he can.
