Dude Perfect gets its own streaming service

Dude Perfect has officially launched its own streaming service.

The Texas-based YouTube trickshot group–aka longtime friends Tyler Toney, Garrett Hilbert, Cody Jones, and twins Cory and Coby Cotton–first unveiled the free-to-watch service (and accompanying app) this past June, during its Pandemonium Tour.

To put the service and app together, Dude Perfect partnered with Canadian media company A Parent Media Co. Inc. (APMC), which owns AVOD streaming service Kidoodle.TV. Dude Perfect previously struck a deal with APMC to put its extensive library of videos on Kidoodle.TV.

That’s how this dedicated Dude Perfect streaming service came about, according to APMC president and CEO Neil Gruninger.

“Since launching Dude Perfect content on our flagship service, Kidoodle.TV, last November, it was immediately evident that our family audiences would love an opportunity to engage with the Dudes on a more immersive level,” Gruninger said in a statement. “The Dude Perfect Streaming Service will make it easier than ever for fans to tap into the latest episodes and get pumped with five of the world’s most popular online family sports entertainers, and we’re excited to be building this service with them.”

The streaming service is live across Roku, Apple, Android TV, Samsung, Vizio, Vidaa, and iOS and Android devices, and offers all of Dude Perfect’s 250+ YouTube videos, extra exclusive videos, Shorts, and interactive content. More features are planned for the future, APMC says.

Chad Coleman, chief brand officer at Dude Perfect, said on LinkedIn that the dudes and APMC have been working on the streaming service for a little over a year.

“We are passionate creators of good, fun, family entertainment,” he added in a statement. “APMC’s technology and message of Safe Streaming are a perfect match with our brand, and they’ve successfully delivered a superior co-viewing experience that is trustworthy for the whole family.”

Dude Perfect is about to hit 60 million subscribers on YouTube, and brings in more than 150 million views a month.
